Brazil and Spain Founder of Meta Ventures, European Digital Leader at World Economic Forum Igor is a World Economic Forum's Digital Leaders Network member and advisor to multiple corporations, startups, and innovation hubs (e.g., Managing Director at La Nave Madrid, Spain's largest urban innovation ecosystem). He was the founder and CEO of Startup Europe Week, the most significant regional entrepreneurship movement globally, promoted with the European Commission and present in over 300 cities and 50 countries with a global audience of 8 million+ entrepreneurs. Previously, Igor worked as a strategy consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and as an executive for large corporations such as Telefonica and DuPont, leading global engagements on corporate strategy, digital transformation, innovation strategy, new product development, and organizational transformation. Igor holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communications Technology from UPCT, an MSc. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School / FGV-EAESP, a BA in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo, and a BA in Business from FGV-EAESP.
